Before You Travel...

Dear Participant,


We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 6th World Congress of the International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP) on November 14-16, 2019, in New York Hilton Midtown Hotel in New York City.  In preparation for this upcoming event, we would like to provide you with the below information for your perusal before traveling to New York: 

 

Congress venue and Headquarters hotel

​Getting to the congress Hotel 
Taxi: 
Newark Liberty International Airport: Estimated Travel Time: 60-90 minutes to arrive from the airport to the hotel & the cost is approx. 80-90 USD not including tip. 

John F. Kennedy International Airport: Estimated Travel Time: 45-60 minutes to arrive from the airport to the hotel & the cost is approx. 55-65 USD not including tip. 

 

Train: 
Newark Liberty International Airport: take the Northeast regional train towards New York Pen station. At Pen station, transfer to the subway line 1 towards Van Cortlandt Park. Exit 50th St. Hotel is about 600 meters from station. Estimated Travel Time: 35 minutes to arrive from the airport to the hotel & the cost is approx. 18-25 USD.

John F. Kennedy International Airport: Take the train from JFK Terminal 4 to Jamaica AirTrain. There you will transfer to the subway E line (towards world trade center) from Sutphin Blvd - Archer Av JFK exit the subway at 7 Av. Hotel is about 300 meters from station. Estimated Travel Time: 45 minutes to arrive from the airport to the hotel & the cost is approx. 8 USD.

Pre-congress courses require separate registration and are not included within the general congress registration fees​.

Registration and Hospitality Desk
The Registration Desk will be situated on the ground floor of the Meeting Venue and open during the following hours:

 

Thursday, Nov. 14, 08:30–20:00

Friday, Nov. 15, 07:30–19:30

Saturday, Nov. 16, 08:00–16:00


Please register upon arrival to receive your meeting kit containing the ISFP Program Book, your personal name badge, invitations, etc.  Please remember to wear your name badge to all activities and social events. 

 

Exhibition Opening Hours 
The Exhibition Area is located in the Beekman and Sutton North ,and will be open during the following times:

Thursday, Nov. 14, 17:00–20:15

Friday, Nov. 15, 10:30–18:00

Saturday, Nov. 16, 10:15–13:30

 

Welcome Reception Supported by Ferring
The ISFP Welcome Reception will be held in the Exhibition Area on Thursday, Nov. 14th, at 19:05. All registered participants are invited to attend!

 

Invited Speakers Presentations
Speakers are requested to upload their presentations in the hall in which the presentation is scheduled no later than two

hours prior to the session. A technician will be in each hall to receive the presentations.

 

Poster Presentation Area Supported by Ferring
Abstract posters will be available for viewing on-site over the two days of the congress, in two groups: Group A on Friday (November 15th) and Group B on Saturday (November 16th).

  • Posters should be mounted on the boards provided on-site no later than 10:00 on the day that they are to be presented.

  • Mounting material will be provided by the Congress Secretariat.

  • Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters to answer questions during the breaks as scheduled in the program.

  • Group A posters should be dismantled no later than 19:30 on Friday, November 15th. Group B posters should be dismantled no later than 16:00 on Saturday, November 16th.

  • The Congress Organizer is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time!

 

Visas
Prior to booking flights, registrants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a Visa to travel to the United States. Information about Visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website:

Liability
The Congress Secretariat and organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, loss of, or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from the ISFP Congress. Participants are expected to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance.

Climate
The weather in New York City during the days of the congress is expected to be chilly. Average temperature is around 9-11˚C during the day, and an average of 4-6˚C at night.
